Faculty of Medicine at JUST is 1st in the Arab World, 4th in the Middle East and 257th globally in the US News & World Report 2019 Jordan University of Science and Technology continues prominence locally and regionally in global rankings. In the most recent accomplishment, the Faculty of Medicine at JUST ranked first locally, first spot among faculties of Medicine in the Arab World, number 4 in the Middle East and North Africa region, and number 257 among all faculties of Medicine Worldwide after advancing 154 points relative to last year. This news came out in the global ranking results for the year 2019 released lately by the US News & WR, the renowned and respected global ranking entity. "We are thrilled and proud of this new achievement of our university for the year 2019 that is added to other similar achievements for JUST from the various prestigious world university ranking systems. This is an honor for JUST and all staff," JUST President Prof. Saeb Khresat said. "Certainly this new achievement wouldn't have been possible without JUST rigorous policies and innovative strategies to support scientific research, and the collaborative effort from all staff to make JUST a world class university". The Dean of Faculty of Medicine Na'el Obaidat stated "This is a national achievement for the university and the faculty of medicine that we take pride in being acknowledged by an international entity as a world-class faculty of Medicine," adding that "it is an undeniable proof of the high quality of medical education and services at JUST and in Jordan." It is noteworthy that the US News & is one of the world prestigious systems for university ranking worldwide established in 1933.
